Philippe Roux has been a Caving and Canyoning guide in Ardèche since 1990. Over the years he has developed an original program which will take you to places in the region few people are privileged to see, whatever your ability level.
After inventing Caving and Canyoning for children, he developed the Caving + Canyoning weekend concept and has opened new routes, many of which are still his exclusives. Many companies ask him to prepare excursions for participants in meetings and seminars to make them go with a swing! He is also much in demand by film and TV production companies on location to provide stars and crews with appropriate below and above-ground security services.
Another use of his peerless climbing prowess is in construction projects! He has worked on the famous Normandy Bridge, installed fireworks on the Eiffel Tower for the Millennium celebrations and on dams in the Sudan!
Good advice : Whatever your ability level, it is important to define your specific program with us before setting out. Remember that caving and canyoning require physical fitness and special equipment. Clothing should be suitable for the activities and you will need good footwear (see description by activity). For all canyoning activities you must be able to swim.
