Learning caving : Try Caving in a cave with a huge variety of landscapes: a shaft, wide galleries, opposing passages and a siphon. Learn to abseil and climb ropes. • half day outings near Aubenas • boots, helmet with acetylene light, technical climbing gear provided. Wear trainer bottoms and long-sleeved T-Shirts. (Warning: despite the overalls they may get wet and dirty).

Great routes : Ardèche, but especially the Alps and the Pyrenees have marvelous routes and more particularly traverses with an entry up the mountain and a exit lower down). After appropriate training, you will be able to approach high level caving in shafts off the beaten track. Some of the top spots visited with clients include: • Traverse of the Pierre Saint Martin, Pyrenees,(-1000 meters, 18 hours) • Traverse of the Dent de Crolles, Chartreuse, Isère (-420 meters, 10 hours) • Scialet des Sarrasins, Vercors, Isère (-400 meters, 13 hours)

• To do these routes you must be able to use the ropes on your own. The program can be adapted to meet your request. Small groups only.
